The overall goal of the project is to contribute to lowering the impact of GHG and polluters in the City of Belgrade. The aim is to improve the energy efficiency of the selected edcational institution and raise awareness among school youth abouth environmental issues by the construction of a greenroof. The expected results of the project are: Constraction of one green roof on the selected educational institution; 4 Environmental workshops for teachers and students of the selected school; 1 Training-of-trainers workshop for students; Promotional cmapaign.
Expected outcomes of these results are: Lower energy consumption within selected educational institution, due to improved insulation during winter and summer periods; Improved environmental awareness, ecological care and environmental engagement of teachers adn students in the selected school; Improved environmental awareness of neighbouring residents and the general public in the City of Belgrade.
