The project IO-Elements – Circular IoT Systems as Technology Solutions for a More Sustainable World aims to enhance the circular economy through the development and deployment of innovative Internet-of-Things (IoT) products and solutions. The primary scope involves designing and producing eco-friendly, low-power IoT devices, branded as IO-Elements, which cater to various business verticals such as waste management, physical security services, and infrastructure monitoring. The project seeks to reduce operational costs and carbon footprints through advanced IoT technology. Key activities include the development of the IO-Eye and IO-Guard devices, low-power optimization, production of testing equipment, software development, and conducting pilot projects to validate technology in real-world settings. The initiative aims to achieve sustainability by extending device autonomy, optimizing waste management, and enhancing infrastructure protection.
