The project aims to develop a high-performance, 95–100% bio-based antibacterial and antifungal paint that significantly reduces fossil fuel use and lowers carbon footprint by 80–90%, while minimizing harmful chemical release. It will produce bio-pigments from organic waste materials such as meat offcuts, spent coffee grounds, cocoa bean shells, and bioplastic residues. These pigments (red, pink, purple, and blue shades) will be tested and validated for industrial use in paints and coatings in collaboration with JUB d.o.o.
