The project “Priroda u tvojoj kosi – Natural Shampoo Made with Ash” aims to develop and launch the first natural shampoo with ash in Serbia, inspired by traditional hair care practices. The product is formulated using recycled ash from renewable sources and enriched with medicinal herbs such as rosemary, lavender, nettle, and chamomile. It is an eco-friendly, sulfate- and paraben-free alternative designed for sensitive scalps and users who prefer natural cosmetics. By applying circular economy principles, the project transforms waste ash into a value-added cosmetic product while reducing environmental impact. The initiative is implemented in an underdeveloped municipality and contributes to local economic development through small-scale production and employment opportunities, particularly for women. The project combines sustainable sourcing, green production, and market-oriented distribution to promote natural and responsible personal care products.
