World Circular Economy Forum 2024 – Studio Belgrade

UNDP Serbia and the Ministry of Environmental Protection will participate in the eighth World Circular Economy Forum, scheduled to take place from April 15 to 18 in Brussels. This forum stands as the premier global event within the circular economy domain, convening experts worldwide to showcase numerous opportunities inherent in this circular model.

To mark this occasion, on Monday, April 22, starting from 10 a.m., the Studio of the World Circular Economy Forum will convene at the UN building in Belgrade, located at Bulevar Zorana Đinđić 64. Following an introductory presentation recapping the eighth Forum held in Brussels, the session will delve into presenting guidelines and inspirational examples illustrating the application of circular economy principles within the construction sector.

A session titled ‘Perspectives of the construction sector – from global practices to Oceania,’ originating from Brussels, will be streamed live at the Belgrade studio, accompanied by translation services.

Furthermore, at 1:30 p.m. on the same day, there will be a presentation unveiling new cycles of public calls for innovation support.

Additionally, on April 26, two sessions from Brussels dedicated to urban planning as a catalyst for circularity and facilitating an efficient transition to circular management of cities and regions will be broadcasted, with translation services available. WCEF2024 Studio is designed as a local event endorsed by the Forum, aimed at presenting the most captivating segments of the Forum’s main program.
