The Guideline for Sustainable Events

The Guide for Sustainable Events was published within the project “Reducing the carbon footprint of local communities by applying the principles of the circular economy in the Republic of Serbia – Circular Communities”, implemented by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and UNDP, with the financial support of the Global Environment Facility (GEF).

The purpose of the Guide is to provide recommendations for organizing environment-friendly, sustainable events. The Guide should help the potential users by proposing measures in the areas of event promotion, mobility, energy and water consumption, communication, catering, waste reduction, and waste separation.
