The project “Od prirode, za prirodu – Sustainable Hazelnut Production Through Women’s Innovation” aims to improve sustainable hazelnut production by applying circular economy principles and eco-technologies. The project integrates agricultural production with the processing of hazelnuts into cosmetic and food products, while reducing environmental impact and increasing resource efficiency. Key interventions include the use of natural compost produced on-site, solar-powered irrigation, and natural plant protection methods, eliminating the need for synthetic fertilizers and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Women are actively involved across production, processing, promotion, and sales, strengthening their economic participation and skills. The project is designed as a replicable model for other farms in Serbia. Expected results include increased yields, reduced emissions, improved soil quality, and access to new markets through eco-certified products.
