CozyReWear – Reuse and Recycling of Textiles

The project “Cozy2wear” aims to further reduce the environmental impact of slow fashion by introducing a circular model for textile reuse, repair, and recycling. Building on the use of organic cotton and durable materials, the project focuses on managing textile waste generated during production and extending the lifespan of clothing items. Fabric leftovers are reused for accessories, while worn or defective garments are collected from customers, redesigned, and returned to the market through resale channels. To support this model, the project establishes a small tailoring unit for clothing alterations and finishing, creating new use value for returned items. Textile residues that cannot be reused are recycled in cooperation with licensed recycling partners. The initiative contributes to waste reduction, responsible resource management, and inclusive employment by engaging women in tailoring and recycling activities, while strengthening a sustainable and replicable slow fashion business model.
