The project titled Tree in Circulation in Serbia aims to establish a sustainable model for reusing zero-value wood scraps from discarded park furniture. Utilizing the Yakisugi burning technique, which originates from Japan, the project creates a water-resistant, aesthetically-unique wood finish without harmful chemicals. This pilot project involves recycling damaged wood waste from various park surfaces managed by the Faculty of Forestry and repurposing it to create eco-friendly products. Additionally, workshops and seminars will be conducted to raise awareness about environmental sustainability and the circular economy, primarily targeting students and public utility companies responsible for park maintenance
