The project titled Green Solutions for Bio-Waste Management in English, aims to address the issue of organic waste disposal in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia. This pilot project focuses on transforming organic waste at its source into compost, which will then be used in horticulture, aligning with the principles of circular economy. The project period extends from 27.03.2024 to 15.12.2025. The project involves multiple stakeholders including the Faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism, PC Banjsko zelenilo i čistoća, and local hotels and restaurants. Key objectives include the procurement and operation of a composter, training of staff in waste management and efficient bio-waste processing, and promoting awareness through workshops and media.
