The second Info Day within the Public Call for Strengthening the Role of Women in the Circular Economy will take place on April 22, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM. We invite all interested women entrepreneurs to join us in person at the United Nations building (Zorana Đinđića Blvd 64, New Belgrade) or online via Zoom.
Registration for participation is available via this link, and attendance should be confirmed by April 21 at 12:00 PM.
During the Info Day, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the application criteria and get answers to any questions related to the application process.
Please note that the application deadline for the Public Call is May 9, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
Eligible applicants include: micro, small and medium-sized enterprises – limited liability companies in which women are owners or hold at least 51% of the shares, women-led businesses, co-operatives with at least two-thirds female members, registered agricultural households run by women, start-ups founded by women that develop innovative solutions for the circular economy, and all forms of social enterprises in which women hold at least two-thirds of the shares or two-thirds of the women are in management positions.
Up to 10 of the most innovative ideas will receive “Circular Awards” of up to USD 20,000 each, to support their implementation in business practice.
The Public Call has been announced as part of the project “Reducing the carbon footprint of local communities by applying the principles of the circular economy in the Republic of Serbia – Circular Communities”, implemented by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and with the financial support of the Global Environment Facility (GEF).
