The project “Mreža industrijske solidarne simbioze – MISS” aims to strengthen the integration of women-led rural food and cosmetic enterprises into sustainable supply chains by applying circular economy and ESG principles. Building on the established MISS network in southern Serbia, the project upgrades the existing digital platform and introduces an AI-supported ESG assessment and advisory tool. It supports women entrepreneurs in improving environmental performance, reducing waste, and increasing market competitiveness through targeted consulting and practical circular solutions. As a pilot circular eco-innovation, selected cooperants will implement a natural soap-based crop repellent to validate environmental and resource efficiency benefits. Expected results include reduced waste generation, lower greenhouse gas emissions, improved ESG performance, and increased visibility of women-led businesses within sustainable food and cosmetic value chains. The project establishes a scalable and replicable model for inclusive circular economy development in rural areas.
