Award-Winning Women Entrepreneurs Showcase Circular Innovations at the Belgrade Night Market

Visitors to the Belgrade Night Market had the opportunity to meet inspiring women entrepreneurs whose innovative products demonstrate how circular economy principles can be integrated into everyday business practices and lifestyles.

During the festival, award-winning women entrepreneurs supported through the “Circular Communities in Serbia” project showcased their products: Jasna Maukovic (“Yasna”), Maja Spasojević (“Mea” Cosmetics), Vida Medić (“Mekiša”), and Aleksandra Rašović (“Amelles” Cosmetics).

Their brands develop products that contribute to waste reduction, more efficient use of resources, and more responsible production, demonstrating how the circular economy can drive innovation, sustainable entrepreneurship, and local development.

By participating in the Belgrade Night Market, the entrepreneurs had the opportunity to showcase their products to a wider audience, connect with new customers, and promote the values of sustainable production and consumption.

The products showcased at the market represent just a selection of the many circular innovations supported through the project “Reducing the Carbon Footprint of Local Communities by Applying Circular Economy Principles in the Republic of Serbia – Circular Communities.” The project is implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia, with financial support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF).
